Professional or Employment Information Job title, company name, industry role, and business information when you submit a Rotorcraft Directory listing or contact us for business purposes.
Commercial Information Records of services purchased or obtained when you purchase a Rotorcraft Directory listing or paid membership.
Inferences Preferences and interests inferred from your engagement with our content such as rotorcraft news categories you read most frequently or Directory categories you browse.
Geolocation Data General location data derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise geolocation data.

We use the personal information we collect for the following business purposes:

- Processing and managing Rotorcraft Directory listings
- Sending newsletters and communications you have requested

Right to Correct You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Therefore no opt-out action is required for these purposes. If our practices change we will update this notice and provide a prominent opt-out mechanism.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA beyond what is necessary to provide our services.

Verification We will need to verify your identity before processing your request. We may ask you to provide additional information to confirm your identity. We will not use information provided for verification for any other purpose.
Authorized Agents You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require written proof of the agent’s permission to act on your behalf and may verify your identity directly.
Response Timeline We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond to your request within 45 days. If we need additional time we will notify you of the reason and extension period up to an additional 45 days.
6. Financial Incentives
MainGearbox does not offer financial incentives in exchange for the retention or sale of personal information.
7. Shine the Light
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 also known as the Shine the Light law permits California residents to request information about how we share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes without your consent.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers include a Do Not Track feature that signals websites not to track your activity. Our websites do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We will update this notice if our practices change.

We may update this CCPA Notice periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post the updated notice on this page with a new Last Updated date. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
