- Company name, job title, and business information when submitting a Rotorcraft Directory listing
- Username and profile information if you create an account on Rotorcraft Network
- Payment information when purchasing a Rotorcraft Directory listing — note that payment processing is handled by secure third-party processors and we do not store your full payment card details
- Communications you send us through our Contact Us page
- Comments or content you post on our community features
Non-Personal Information Information collected automatically when you visit our sites including:
- IP address and general location data
- Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
- Pages visited, time spent on site, and referring URLs
- Search queries entered on our sites
- Clickstream data showing how you navigate our sites
2. How We Collect Information

Directly from you when you register for an account, subscribe to newsletters, submit a Directory listing, contact us, or interact with our community features.

Through RSS aggregation — Rotorcraft News aggregates publicly available RSS feeds from third-party publishers. We do not collect personal information through this process. Aggregated content links back to the original publisher and we do not store personal data from third-party RSS feeds.

- Process and manage Rotorcraft Directory listings

Rotorcraft Directory Listings Information submitted as part of a public Rotorcraft Directory listing is displayed publicly on the Directory website as intended. You control what information is included in your listing.

Business Transfers In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of MainGearbox assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. - Newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe
- Directory listing information is retained for the duration of your listing plus a reasonable period thereafter
- Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings, typically 26 months
- Aggregated content from RSS feeds is retained for up to 90 days per source before being automatically removed
When personal information is no longer needed we securely delete or anonymize it.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information including SSL encryption for data transmission, secure server infrastructure through ScalaHosting managed VPS, and access controls limiting who can access personal data.
However no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information we will notify you as required by applicable law.
9. Your Rights and Choices
