Precision Aviation Group (PAG) will expand its business in landing gear and hydraulic and pneumatic component services through its acquisition of São José dos Campos, Brazil-based EFIX Aviation Support, the Atlanta-based company announced Thursday. The deal also gives PAG, an MRO provider and fixed-wing and rotorcraft supplier to the civil and defense markets, its 11th global repair station.

Additionally, EFIX expands PAG’s footprint in Brazil—where we’ve had a presence since 2015—enabling our customers to benefit from in-country MRO support and expanded local inventory levels, quicker turnaround times, and expanded AOG support,” said PAG president and CEO David Mast. The Latin American MRO provider that holds repair station certificates from both EASA and ANAC also has expertise in the servicing of electrical accessories, starter generators, batteries, and avionics.

Likewise, EFIX stands to benefit from the transaction, said president Ricardo Malato. “The acquisition by PAG enables EFIX to provide enhanced capabilities for our customers specifically in avionics, LCD display repairs, accessories, instruments, fuel components, and wheels/brakes,” he said, adding it also will have immediate access to PAG’s $45 million in parts inventory from more than 80 OEMs. “PAG is well-positioned and services very diverse end markets and we look forward to building on its strong foundation by helping it grow and meet evolving customer needs,” Malato explained.
